Harrow has several large scale shopping centres including St Ann's Shopping Centre near Harrow-on-the-Hill and has an extensive food court. The other shopping centre is St George's and features a multiscreen cinema, mall and gymnasium.

Harrow is very cosmopolitan for a London borough and attracts visitors from all over the United Kingdom. The town centre has pedestrianised streets for shoppers and there are even several traditional style village centres inside the borough. This makes Harrow a rich and varied part of London.

Harrow has superb transport links and is on the Metropolitan Line of the London Underground. There are several stations in Harrow Borough including North Harrow tube station, Northolt Park tube station, Sudbury Hill tube station and Rayners Lane tube station.
